Completing my first marathon as part of Team In Training was amazing. Raising $4,000+ for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society helped me keep the spirits of my friends alive and ensure other patients will have a fighting chance to beat their blood-related cancers. I trained again last fall, this time for the half-marathon in San Antonio, which I completed on November 16, 2008. Check out my journey! My Blob
I just have to say that my grandmother, Snookie, is so cute. Last week I printed out all of my blog entries and mailed them to her because, you know, she's old school! I got a thank you note from her yesterday telling me how much she enjoyed my "blob." I'm laughing even as I type this. I love her spirit!
