I think everyone had a good time. It definitely took a long time for the gym staff to teach the group of 18 (give or take) how to climb, but once we got through it, everyone spread out around the gym and gave it a shot. Some people were like monkeys; I was amazed. The first time I climbed I was terrified!
Completing my first marathon as part of Team In Training was amazing. Raising $4,000+ for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society helped me keep the spirits of my friends alive and ensure other patients will have a fighting chance to beat their blood-related cancers. I trained again last fall, this time for the half-marathon in San Antonio, which I completed on November 16, 2008. Check out my journey!
